As Prayagraj prepares for the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela, tourism department officials have constructed the country’s first in collaboration with a private firm Dome City In the Aral area of Kumbh.
Tourists will be able to stay in these domes 24/7 and enjoy modern amenities while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Kumbh. Evo Life Space Pvt. Ltd. Director Amit Johri while talking to the media said, “The country’s first Dome City is being constructed on 3.25 hectares of land provided by the Tourism Department.”
He also informed that the domed city will have a total of 44 domes, each measuring 32×32 feet, which will be built at a height of 15-18 feet. Additionally, these domes will be constructed from 360-degree polycarbonate sheets that are bulletproof and fireproof.
A video that recently went viral shows a travel vlogger taking viewers through these domes. Many people seem to be attracted by on-point infrastructure.
According to reports, Dome City will have a total of 176 cottages – each cottage will be equipped with state-of-the-art amenities. Each of these cottages will have arrangements for air conditioning, geysers and satvik food. The fare will be Rs 81,000 during Snan festival and Rs 41,000 on normal days. At the same time, the rent of a dome during Snan Parv will be Rs 1,10,000 and on normal days it will be Rs 81,000.
