"Fifty shades of sugar": Internet reacts to viral videos of making fruit balls in Ahmedabad

With the temperature rising every passing day, you have nothing like fresh sweetness of ice cream or lollies to cool. But in a bizarre turn, a viral video has unveiled a peculiar food experiment from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where a road seller is offering balls (ice popsicals) with fruit syrup. Yes, you read that right. Food Vlogger Krupali Patel recently shared a video that features a stall to produce a unique treatment called “Fruit Gola”. The footage captured the seller that needs ice popsicals in pomegranate, berry, raw mango, kiwi and many other flavored syrup. Next, he adds everything a little to a ice ball to a plate. He also adds some gummy bears to finish the dish.

The video has been viewed more than 46 million times on Instagram. In the comments, many users expressed their disappointment with a fruit ball. A user said, “Does people not realize that the floating fruit is just theaterics.” Another couple, “fruit color is very dangerous.” Someone commented, “50 shades of sugar.” “We found radioactive green, methylene blue and many more,” read a comment. “Cancer ball with food coloring,” a user commented.
