More than 50 students of Narsi Monji Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) at Jadcherla fell ill due to food poisoning after consuming their campus food this week. Instead of transferring to hospitals, the affected students were treated by private doctors in the college campus. “You are only trying to protect the university. Protect children. Immediately transfer them to hospitals. If something happens, then who will take responsibility? The MLA asked the university officials.
After their intervention, 15–20 students were finally transferred to hospitals in Mahabubnagar and Hyderabad for better treatment.
