My recent visit to Gola Sizzlers surprised me… in a good way!
With a legacy spanning over three decades, Gola Sizzlers has carved a niche for itself in the culinary world. Though it is famous for its sizzlers (and rightly so), its menu includes Indian, Chinese, Continental, Mughlai, Italian and Japanese cuisine. When I visited here recently, I loved the sizzler that I tasted (again), but it was something else that caught everyone’s attention. Want to know what it is? Read on.
I visited the Gola Sizzlers outlet in Saket, which was buzzing with diners enjoying live music. The lively ambiance set the tone for a lovely evening with my family. I began my culinary journey with Dahi Kebab – a crispy, delicious dish that paired perfectly with my refreshing cocktail. A promising start to a memorable meal.
Of course, no visit to Gola Sizzler is complete without enjoying their signature dish – the Sizzler. I opted for the Chilli Chicken Sizzler, which was absolutely delicious, and was tempted by the crackling sound and aromatic steam when it was placed in front of me. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the accompaniment of vegetables made it even more delicious.
However, the real surprise of the evening was the North Indian cuisine. Everyone has their own preference for butter chicken. My butter chicken is a little spicy, tangy and not too creamy. That is what I got at Gola Sizzlers, and I was stunned. The Dal Makhani and Malai Kofta were also excellent, in fact mouth-watering. I was full, but I couldn’t stop myself from eating more. Oh, I forgot, there was Alfredo Mushroom Pasta too. It was good, but the Indian cuisine caught my full attention.
Oh, what a satisfying meal it was. The only thing needed was a good dessert and that’s what I got – the Ice Cream Sizzler – a refreshing and delicious dessert that was the perfect end to a truly satisfying meal.
