Many people attending the popular Kachela music ceremony held in California have taken on social media to highlight the high prices of food and drinks.
The annual music and art festival Kachela, held at the Empire Polo Club in California, is considered a major cultural program. This popular festival attracts lovers of music, art and fashion of other countries along with America. This year, highlights include Lady Gaga, Megan The Stallian, Green Day, Travis Scott, Post Malon and many other famous artists. Kachela 2025 is currently making headlines for another reason – high prices of food and drinks at the site. Many attendees have taken on social media to complain about these high costs and many of their posts have gone viral online.

Kachela is held at the end of two weeks – the first set of performances took place from April 11 to April 13, and the second was scheduled from 18 to 20 April. After the first weekend, videos about food on the festival started coming to the surface on social media. Many users were important for the same, which cited high prices of eye water for basic snacks and beverages. Ruth Vivros, an influential Ruth Vivros, who attended Kachela on 11 April, claimed that according to the New York Post, spent more than $ 100 for his food by meeting Tacos and lemonade. Additionally, he found that the taste/quality was found to be sub-barbaric, as he said “they are not good, not good … Tortils are like colds.” In the comment section of his post, many people allegedly slammed Kachela. Kachela’s website includes information about food and drinks at the site. It states, “Our food programs have new and exciting restaurants from the coast to the coast, as well as offer your favorite staples, a variety of dishes that pleases the person who goes to any festival. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.” The general entry tickets for the weekend started priced at $ 649 (about Rs 55,000), and the weekend was costing two tickets $ 599 (about Rs 51,000). The cost is different for other facilities including shuttle bus tickets, VIP pass, parking, etc. Thus, many attendees are feeling a pinch of opening more money to pay for food and drink during the festival.
