Madhya Pradesh Tourism The Board is preparing to host its fourth annual Skydiving Festival ujjainThe objective of which is to transform the state into an adventure tourism hub and offer a variety of experiences to the travelers. Running from November 9, 2024 to February 9, 2025, the three-month long festival will provide tourists with an exciting opportunity to jump from 10,000 feet and enjoy the beauty of the Mahakal city from above.

All about Ujjain’s Skydiving Festival
The event is expected to welcome more than 1,000 participants eager to experience the thrill of skydiving. Sky High India, the organizing company, will operate a specially modified Cessna 182P aircraft, carrying six people at a time, including two participants and two trainers per session.
Certified by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the United States Parachute Association (USPA), Sky High India will manage all skydiving activities, ensuring that participants enjoy a safe and exhilarating experience under the supervision of highly trained professionals. Skydiving will take place daily from 8 am to 5 pm at Datana airstrip, Ujjain, booking of which is available on www.skyhighindia.com.

Ujjain is home to the sacred Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva, making it a major pilgrimage destination. You can also visit Ram Ghat, a bustling beach along the Shipra River, known for its evening aarti. The temple town is home to the historic Harsiddhi Temple as well as the Kaal Bhairav Temple, which offers a glimpse of the city’s interesting Tantric traditions. For those interested in history, the Vedh Shala (an ancient observatory) offers a glimpse of Ujjain’s astronomical heritage, where you can see the instruments used by astronomers centuries ago.
