Masaba Gupta loves sharing tidbits about her love for food. From carousel posts detailing her daily diet to candid glimpses of her favorite sweets, Masaba has revealed many aspects of her food side on Instagram. One of her latest Insta stories caught our attention because it featured a favorite spice: hari (green) chutney. Its main ingredients usually include mint leaves (Pudina) and coriander leaves (Dhaniya), which give a lovely freshness and wonderful color to the chutney. Green chillies are added to give it a spicy taste. There are many varieties of green chutney across the country and the recipe of each household may differ slightly from the other. Masaba also decided to give her own twist to this treat and chose a unique ingredient to do so. Any guesses about what he used? Since this fruit is in season right now, it seems Masaba has decided to take advantage of its flavor and texture by including it in the chutney. We’re talking about guava (also known as “Peruvian”).
