Craving Mexican food? Try Miss Margarita’s new menu!
Apart from our classic North Indian dishes, there are only a few other dishes that I love and Mexican dishes top that short list. And whenever I feel like it, Miss Margarita’s is one of my favorite places. So, naturally, when I learned that Miss Margarita’s launched a new menu, I had to try it. Miss Margarita had the same lively atmosphere – quirky interiors, lovely music and the enticing aroma of Mexican delights wafting in the air. All the same things but a brand new menu.
I love the look of the new cocktail menu. It comes equipped with images and brief descriptions of each cocktail so you know exactly what you’ll be drinking. Margarita has been refined with a more sophisticated approach, with well-decorated and intricate profiles that delight the senses. I’m a tequila drinker and I love the Orange and Basil Margarita – a tequila cocktail bursting with orange zest, fresh basil, lime, triple sec and orange juice. This was the perfect recipe for a refreshing cocktail with a hint of sweetness.
Another cocktail not to be missed is the Mexican Bulldog Margarita, mainly because of how it is served. A big goblet filled with tequila cocktail, lots of ice and garnished with upside down Corona beer bottles! Was there a conspiracy? You will have to see this miracle yourself. Bonus – it tastes great too.
If you’re a tequila fan like me, the Spiced Cucumber Agave is also a must-try. Patron is complemented by the flavors of cucumber cordial, spicy agave, Himalayan pink salt and more. The drink isn’t too spicy, just a little bit, which makes it a great drink if you like classic tequila mixes.
Last but not least, the Watermelon and Jalapeno Margarita is also worth trying.
For non-tequila lovers, there are exciting gin and whiskey cocktails that provide exciting options for non-tequila drinkers. They’ve also launched a dedicated section to Picante, showcasing innovative creations like Fermented Pineapple and Habanero Picante, which takes 25 days to prepare from fermented pineapple juice, as well as Smoked Orange and Chipotle Picante.
Talking about food, I started my meal with Diablo Prawns Sizzle. I love prawns and this dish did not disappoint – they were perfectly cooked and seasoned.
Next on my table – Grilled Tenderloin Tacos. The tacos were also good, with juicy meat making it a delicious meal. But what I really liked was the Cheesy Jalapeno Chipotle Chicken Quesadilla. Everything about this dish was perfect. But the best was yet to come. Yes, sweets. The delicious cinnamon churros were exactly what I needed to end my meal on a sweet note.
A standout feature of the new menu is the introduction of a dedicated vegetarian and vegan section. This thoughtfully curated selection includes an impressive array of dishes from appetizers to tacos, allowing vegetarian and vegan guests to enjoy a completely satisfying meal without having to look to meat-based options. For meat lovers, the non-vegetarian section has been enhanced with fresh ceviche. The new menu includes a selection of chimichangas that cater to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences.
After this amazing experience, I can’t wait to go back to Miss Margarita’s for another round of deliciousness.
