Neena Gupta’s cooking has always been a crowd pleaser. Now, the veteran actress has paid the same attention to her cookware. How do we know? Well, Neena Gupta recently posted a video on her Instagram Stories in which she revealed that she is quitting using Teflon non-stick and aluminium pans. Her new option is iron pans. “We are now paying attention to our cookware. Iron embroidery” she can be heard saying in the video. “Iron pans are finally giving way to Teflon non-stick pans and aluminium pans,” the clip reads. With this, Neena Gupta has given a subtle yet strong message on the health benefits of using iron pans. Unlike non-stick pans, which may emit toxic fumes, iron pans have better heat conduction, ensuring that the food is cooked properly.
Neena Gupta’s food cravings are full of health-conscious ingredients. Over the weekend, the veteran star ate a plate of chilla made of semolina and vegetables, garnished with curd.
