Similipal National Park, a favorite spot for trekking and wildlife lovers, has witnessed severe cold, with temperatures consistently below 3 degrees Celsius. This unusual phenomenon provides a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness the breathtaking natural beauty of Odisha accompanied by frosty showers.
However, there are some people who are claiming that there has been snowfall in the state. This is not true. There is frost in Odisha at this time. In a tropical state like Odisha, which is located close to the coast and has a tropical monsoon climate, the chances of snowfall are quite low.
