According to reports, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for the state, predicting severe cold wave and below average temperatures. While temperatures are expected to rise gradually from December 18, the initial impact of this unprecedented cold has been significant.

Similipal National Park, a favorite spot for trekking and wildlife lovers, has witnessed severe cold, with temperatures consistently below 3 degrees Celsius.
