Best places to visit in Germany

From the fairytale castles of Bavaria to the gritty street art of Berlin, Germany is a country that wears many hats – including lederhosen! Start at Neuschwanstein Castle, the real-life inspiration for Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle, then head to Berlin’s vibrant neighborhoods where history and hipster cafes will keep you buzzing. A walk in the Rhine Valley is also highly recommended as it is full of medieval towns and vineyards that can make even a wine drinker blush. Don’t forget Munich, where beer flows like water during Oktoberfest, and the Black Forest, where there are cuckoo clocks and trails that look straight out of a storybook.
