Losing weight is not just about looking good – for many people, it is about feeling healthy, being more active and living a full life. 40-year-old Ayush Jaiswal, for the owner of a restaurant, it was all-and much more. It was about becoming a father that he always wanted to be: energetic, current, and capable of playing without his children.
We all have heard that it is difficult to lose weight. And this is really, especially when life gets busy, kicks in crawings, or you are doing a demand job. But with the right mentality, support and a permanent plan, long-term changes are completely possible-even when you entice food every day.

“I was fat at the age of 30. Now I’m fit at 40”

Ayush’s journey began with a powerful inspiration – his daughter. “I didn’t want to be a father who was always very tired to play,” he shared. “When we planned for our second child, this inspiration became even stronger. I wanted to be present and made real memories, not sitting on the sideline.”

I was thick at the age of 30. Now I am fit at 40: Ayush Jaiswal
In its heaviest, Ayush weighs 84 kg. Today, their weight is 58 kg – 26 kg weight loss in two years. So how did he do this? Which diet and exercise did they follow the diet? In a special interview with Times Now, Ayush shared the secrets of their weight loss changes.

No quick improvement-long-term changes

While many people try to lose weight quickly, Ayush took a different route. “It took me almost two years, but I wanted a balanced, realistic approach,” he says. “I did not want to crash the diet or cut what I like. I wanted to enjoy family food and still progressed.”

And the mentality is the one who made his change stick. Ayush did not chase a number on the scale. He focused on making fitness a lifestyle.
“I don’t see it as a trip with a closing point,” they explain. “If I say I have come ‘,’ I will stop trying. For me, fitness is now a way of life.”

The most difficult fight? Change your mindset

Ayush runs a successful dessert and restaurant business – so you can imagine how difficult it should have been to avoid temptation. “I am surrounded by food all day,” they say. “But the big challenge was not my job – it was me.”

For years, he avoided the mirror. He signed up for gym membership only after a few days. “I will always be able to excuse to sleep instead of working,” he believes. But something changed. “I am finally committed to myself. I told myself,” This time, I will not stop. “

A coach, a supporting family, and a powerful sentence

A big twist in Ayush’s visit was getting a fitness coach, Harshal Milani through the stage fitter. “Harshal was my guide, my motivator and my support system,” says Ayush. “Even when I felt that he was giving me, he was going to me.”

His family, especially his wife also played a very big role. “She understood how important it was to me and she supported me at every step.” But the biggest inspiration came from his daughter. “One day, while we were playing, he said, ‘Papa, you have never been tired now!” That one line means to me.

What did his routine look like?

Ayush’s workout scheme was created by coach Harshal and adapted according to his busy schedule. He followed it religiously. But when it came to food, they kept it simple: home-cooked, protein-rich food. No fancy diet, no keto, no extreme restrictions.

“I never left my favorite foods completely,” he shared. “I have just learned how to eat carefully.”
This is why it works in a long time. “Fitter and Harshal did not help me lose weight – they changed how I think about food and fitness.”

Failure? Not really – just stop short

Ayush did not face major failures – and he credits his slow and stable approach.

“Many times I felt that I was stuck or not seen progress,” he believes. “But I never saw those moments as failures. I spoke to my coach, adjusting my plan, and kept walking.”
That flexible mentality helped him in power through the plateaus and to be consistent without burnout.

“Don’t wait for the right time. Just start!”

Ayush has a simple advice for anyone to think about starting your weight loss journey: “Stop waiting. Do not wait for the right day, right gym, or correct weather. Just start.”

He remembers how his work clothes also catch him back. “I will wear formal shirts and leather shoes in the restaurant, and I think,” I will change and walk later. ” But I never did it. ,
One day, he stopped waiting. “I started walking in the same clothes. Finally, I put a pair of sneakers at work. That little shift made all the difference.”

Walking became his superpower

For Ayush, walking was not just exercise – it was his secret weapon. “I started walking everywhere. I took the stairs instead of the lift. I went to the rain, midnight, on the treadmill – whatever was taken to hit my daily steps.”

What started as a task became another nature. “Most people get reasons for walking. I started searching for reasons.”

Today, fitness is their identity

Now, Ayush is not just a fit dad – that is an inspiration. Their change has influenced their business, their energy levels and their confidence. “I was looking at the mirror,” they say. “Now, I feel proud of what I see – not only physically, but also mentally.”

More than anything, he has become a father who he always wanted to be – which is not only present, but is completely alive with his children every moment. “I started this journey for my children,” Ayush smiles. “But I achieved a lot on the way.”
