We all think that eating unhealthy and junk food leads to weight gain, but this is not the only reason. Bad lifestyle habits including smoking, drinking, stress, sleep disorders or even death of a special person can make you indulge in unhealthy habits which can lead to weight gain. That’s exactly what happened to 37-year-old Abhishek Tiwari, who lost his parents and stress became the only constant in his life. Being a vegetarian made it even more difficult for him to think about changing as he found it impossible to maintain a vegetarian lifestyle without supplements.
“I never thought a vegan lifestyle without supplements could produce such a transformation, but Jessie and the team proved me wrong – they worked miracles! It didn’t happen overnight; It took a lot of hard work in the beginning, but now it is my lifestyle. Life was not kind to me during the last semester of engineering – I lost my parents, and survival became my priority. Despite adverse circumstances, I completed my studies and secured a position as a sub-engineer in a small village in Chhattisgarh. By then, my weight had increased to more than 95 kg,” he said.
Abhishek tried everything from keto to intermittent fasting in his diet, but nothing worked for him. He lost weight but with the help of a fitter. “I tried everything – keto, intermittent fasting, crash diets – you name it. Yes, I lost weight but at the cost of balance. Despite going to the gym regularly, I could not control my increasing weight. Then, in 2022, I came across JC Fitness in my feed. Skeptical but curious, I planned for a month and it changed everything. My coach Muzammil gave me insights I never knew – clear, precise and life-changing,” he said.
Without extreme diets or supplements, Abhishek followed the JC philosophy and saw real results. “My wife also followed it postpartum and lost excess weight with the same science of fitness. Today, it’s not just about weight loss; It is about living a balanced, sustainable and healthy life. If we can do it, so can you!” Abhishek shared.

What inspired you to set out on this journey?

Changing himself was a dream for Abhishek. He remembers seeing Hrithik Roshan on screen in 2006 and being amazed by his physique, but at that very moment he decided that one day he would become the best version of himself. “The moment I saw Hrithik on screen in 2006, I was stunned by his physique – it planted the seed of a dream. But over time, I realized that it’s not just about looking like someone else. It’s about becoming the best version of yourself, deciding how you want to see yourself, and committing to putting in the effort to maintain that vision,” he said.

This transformation took him many months and years but his persistence and dedication made his dream come true and after 4 years he achieved his goal. His fat percentage was in double digits; Now, they aim to keep it in single digits. “It’s about building a sustainable and fit lifestyle, not just chasing a number!” He said.

Coming from a vegetarian family where eggs are not even a part of their diet, getting enough protein was a real challenge for Abhishek. Cheese, soya chunks and pulses were among the very few sources, but they did not provide the complete protein their body needed. “Initially, I resisted protein shakes, so I resorted to eating 100-130 grams of soya chunks to meet my daily protein target. But then, my coach gave me guidance on how to properly meet my protein needs and that made all the difference,” he explains.

“Another hurdle was the strong desire for tea – how could I work in a government office without tea, right? But Jesse and the team also gave me the right science to handle it. I didn’t have to compromise with my beloved tea and yet, I enjoyed the incredible transformation in my body! It’s all about finding the right balance and making informed choices!” she said.

What helped you stay motivated during your weight loss journey?

Being consistent and staying motivated are the biggest challenges when it comes to weight loss. But if you have the support of people around you, nothing is impossible. “Staying motivated throughout my weight loss journey was not easy, but the support of my family played a vital role. My brother, who also started the same change and saw amazing results, was a huge motivator. My wife has been a source of constant support and inspiration, she has always been a strong source of encouragement,” said Abhishek.

Apart from this, Abhishek had confidence in himself. He believed in the process, was persistent and saw results. With time, noticing changes in herself became a habit and now, going back to the way things were seemed unimaginable to her. He said, “I know that to win back, you will have to work harder than losing, and this thinking is what motivates me to move forward.”

Something that I can embrace for a long time, shares Abhishek. His fitter coach Muzammil Haq planned a diet for me based on his preferences.
“We started with a comfortable calorie deficit diet and intensified the process when I was in the zone, again taking into account hunger levels, energy levels, work-related stress and more. Made strategic planning. Also followed his coach’s advice on training. He thoughtfully planned things for me, taking a very specific approach based on my goals. Never had to undergo extensive training. Aiming for adequate volume from what I could recover while making sure we’re not overtraining to avoid junk volume,” he said.

“My advice to anyone wanting to embark on a transformation journey is simple: persistence and patience are key. It’s not about quick solutions or shortcuts. Commit to the process, trust the science, and focus on building a sustainable lifestyle. Don’t let setbacks discourage you—every challenge is an opportunity to learn. And remember, it’s not just about standing out; It’s about feeling better, healthier and more confident in yourself. Take one step at a time and always have faith in your ability to make change,” he said.

How has your life changed after achieving your weight loss goals? After achieving her weight loss goals, her life has completely changed. Not only does he feel physically stronger and more energetic, but his mindset has also changed. “I am more confident, disciplined and focused in every area of ​​my life – work, relationships and personal development. I’ve learned that health is the foundation of everything, and this is reflected in my mental clarity, productivity, and overall happiness. Change is not just about physical change; It’s about the way I look at life with renewed purpose and determination,” he said.
