The freshly grounded coffee and the seductive fragrance of hot pastry takes visitors to a quiet corner in Versova. The Silk Road Coffee Company (SRCC) opened its root and bachaouse here in October 2024. There are no stranger for new coffee-centric spots in different parts of Mumbaikar city. But from the beginning, SRCC discovers that it is not just another cafe or coffee shop. This giant two -storey location extends to 3,500 square feet and applies itself as a community hotspot. Some time ago, we had a chance to visit the SRCC and spend a leisurely for ourselves to experience our attraction.
Established by Partha Suri and Shamit Tyagi, the silk road coffee company is a reflection of their deep passion for artistry, community and quality. With the background in acting and music, respectively, both sees their cafes as an expansion of creative expression – where coffee, like art, becomes a shared experience for people coming together. and that’s not all. In SRCC, the craft of coffee comes from baking, which provides more wide experience for visitors.

The decoration of two-level cafe of SRCC reflects modern minimalism with thoughtful artistic touch. It manages to create an invited environment for both social interaction and solitude (to a certain extent). The ground floor has a live baking area where guests can be made fresh goods. Next to this is the place of a small incidents, where the founders plan to host various community-focused activities. A wooden spiral ladder moves upwards with indoor and outdoor seating. The expander glass windows flood the outer section with natural light, offering a cool atmosphere. Inside, bookshelves, a large community table and a comfortable seating place from the main counter.

Coffee is taken seriously in SRCC – but it is more than a dedicated festival rather than a perfectly cerebral tour. Beans are morally sour from premiere estates such as Kudiripanjan (Sherveeroy Hills), Elsworth (Chikmagalur), and Copotur, which ensures rich and diverse taste profiles. The espresso bar of the cafe offers both classic and innovative bruzes, while the manual Bru Bar has options such as por over, spiced por over and aeropress. Coffee lovers can also buy these particular sour beans and fry them before taking them back home. In particular, SRCC is the only cafe in India, which is using a specific type of premium brooing equipment (a specific type of premium brooing equipment, which is highly demanded by intelligent coffee enthusiasts).

But this does not mean that the cafe is only for serious coffee fans. Instead of overwhelming or separating beginners for praise of coffee, SRCC encourages them to leave and encourage to learn more to know what they want – or just remembering a well -prepared drink We do. Each of the beverages we tasted tasted us something, but they were also pleasant in themselves. We started with a luxurious iced Vietnamese Espresso Coffee. The SRCC version makes the version unique that it is built with aspresso and does not have a cool decoction, resulting in a puncture and strong taste with low sweetness, Parth explains. The uniqueness of his recommendations reflects the passion for him to his venture and also spots the human touch that makes the cafe feel grounded. During our journey, we enjoyed the subtlely sweet honey macachiato, which was a heart heating capuchino with oat milk and the specialty of the special pineapple light roast of Silk Road. Between the mocktails, we dropped the delicious grapefruit raspberry tonic down and immediately wished that we could be more. When our taste buds were tired of all coffee, we rested in the cooling hug of tape – a lightly spicy fainted pineapple mexican drink.

SRCC’s charming dishes are limited to a wide variety of sandwiches and some staple sides. We were melted with a hearty chicken patty to Croisain, which was covered by the round Croisain ‘slices’ and enhanced with cheese, onion and mustard. Shums Charde was also nutritious – creamy garlic mushroom lightly in the middle of toasted brooch. Sweet behavior ended and became more impressive. We loved almond croisain’s bhogi layers and crisp cream brly’s text happily. Other beautiful pastries wooed us at the counter, but we gave a longing to some acquaintance – a velvet basket cheesekek that was just the right hit.

The Silk Road Coffee Company is more than just one place to grab a cup of coffee – its purpose is to become craftsmanship and a celebration of the community. Its secluded place mainly fulfills the possibilities of distant distance that cannot expect to get in other areas in Mumbai. You may have to go a little “out of the way” to reach here, but it is worth it – whether in the morning Espresso, afternoon pastry, or evening interaction.
