Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal give us the ultimate Australia bucket list for 2025

“Once the travel bug bites there is no known cure, and I know I will happily remain infected for the rest of my life.” Sonakshi and Zaheer have definitely taken this quote to heart! This couple isn’t just giving us relationship goals – they’re also becoming our ultimate travel guides! The two are on a dreamy Australian adventure, and trust us, their itinerary is as Instagram-worthy as it is envy-inducing. From lush rainforests to adrenaline-pumping adventures, here’s your insider’s guide to Australia, Sonakshi-and-Zaheer style.
Sonakshi and Zaheer visit Daintree Rainforest

Port Douglas and the Daintree Rainforest

“Staying in the Daintree Rainforest, biking, paddle boarding, diving, driving through @portdouglasdaintree, flying over it and loved the beautiful views!!! True Australian adventure!!!,” said Sonakshi, who couldn’t stop talking about the ancient Daintree Rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s oldest tropical rainforest! If you’re lucky, you might even spot a tree kangaroo or cassowary – Australia’s own “living dinosaurs”.

Here, they stayed in Port Douglas Daintree, a stylish but quiet village that caters to every traveller. Make it your base to explore the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation, with plenty of day trips to choose from.
For a dose of thrill, visit Skypark Cairns where Australia’s only bungee jump

Giant swing at Skypark Cairns

What’s a holiday without adventure? For both of them, the giant swing at Skypark Cairns was the ultimate test of bravery. “Why do I do this to myself?!? Because my bungee jumping husband makes me think “it’s not that scary” 🙄 (not gonna lie… it was so much fun!!!!!), ” Sinha wrote while sharing a video of his adventure.

Lizard Island Resort is a luxury retreat located on the Great Barrier Reef

Lizard Island Resort

When it comes to luxury, Sonakshi and Zaheer swear by the Lizard Island Resort, the only luxury island located on the Great Barrier Reef. “An island so good, one story won’t be enough!!! Loved every part of this hidden gem – hidden in @lizardisland, @queensland @australia… untouched nature trails, the clearest blues, the first time we saw monitor lizards and an overall amazing experience! Can’t wait to come again!!” Sonakshi wrote on Instagram.
The resort is all-inclusive, so you don’t have to worry about anything. Be it a private beach picnic, guided diving tour, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, a visit to the Lizard Island Research Station – every moment here is made for enjoyment.
Add diving the Great Barrier Reef to your Australia bucketlist

With its crystal-clear waters, colorful coral gardens and diverse marine life, it is a paradise for both beginners and experienced divers. To spend their day at sea, Sonakshi and Zaheer trusted Quicksilver Dive, where they said “Our amazing dive guide Chris @quicksilverdive showed us the best spots, helped us find Nemo and made sure we had the best time. yes!”
