Late shift, irregular schedule, and poor eating habits often increase unwanted weight, making us feel dry and dull. For 30 -year -old construction project manager Ankita Sahu, this was his reality. Demanding 14 hours of work schedule and frequent travel, he found himself with no energy, unhealthy eating habits and a body, which did not feel like him. But Ankita decided to take charge, and within 1.5 years, she changed her life – losing 20 kg and gaining a new identity. But how did he do it? What was his twist? Before his weight loss trip, Ankita weighs 85 kg. She often felt dull, mentally tired, and lacked inspiration to stay active. He said, “I had no control over my food options. Whatever was available, I will eat.”

Success occurred when he saw the dedication and change of others in fitness communities such as JC and FITTR. His commitment and discipline inspired him to take the first step towards giving priority to his health. She says, “I wanted to feel mentally and physically better. I knew that I needed to change.”

A busy work challenges of life

Ankita’s biggest challenge was her demanding job. “She struggled to find time for the gym, with a 14-hour shift, continuous journey and no stability. Work stress often made it difficult to focus on my fitness goals,” she shared.

But she was firm. He found his fitness journey ways to work around his schedule. “Even in the busiest days, I was committed to small, consistent steps – whether it was making a better food option or fitting in a quick workout whenever possible,” Ankita said.

Diet and exercise he pursued to change his weight loss

He shared the importance of relying on the process. “It’s not only about the number on the scale. It is about the creation of a lifestyle habit that lives.”

Results: Reaching its weight loss goal

After 1.5 years of stability, Ankita lost 20 kg, leading to her weight to 65 kg below 85 kg. But changes were more than just physical.

“My duration is now regular, my skin looks better, and I feel more energetic and active. I overcome diseases rapidly, and I have saved money by making healthy food options. Even in social events, I now know what to eat exactly and how much. The quality of my sleep has improved, and the most important thing is that I have learned disciplines.”

Ankita’s advice for others

For those considering a change, Ankita has a simple piece of advice: “Believe yourself and your coach work. Keep moving. Just do not rely on the number of scale-do not affect the factors on the number of scale. This journey is not only about losing or achieving weight; it’s about making a permanent, healthy lifestyle.”
