Here’s what we ate at this unique restaurant recently.
Delhi’s dining scene never disappoints, with new restaurants and cafes constantly adding to the city’s vibrant culinary landscape. The latest to join this ever-growing list is Thanks & Beyond, located in the heart of the bustling Epicurean area of Nehru Place. The restaurant promises a unique dining experience, with a diverse ambiance and a menu that caters to both adventurous and traditional tastes. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by a charming atmosphere that effortlessly combines bohemian spirit with worldly elegance, setting the stage for a memorable meal.
Ambience: A tale of three districts
The restaurant is cleverly divided into three distinct sections – each section offering a different ambiance. ‘Thanks’ is perfect for coffee lovers and cocktail enthusiasts, ‘&’ offers a tranquil Tuscan-style outdoor retreat, and ‘Beyond’ features a luxurious bar with a premium selection of handcrafted cocktails and spirits. Together, these spaces create a versatile setting suitable for any occasion.

Culinary Experience: What we tried
During my visit, we decided to dive into their signature cocktails. Our first choice was the Hydra, a concoction made from gin, pineapple, and Madras curry. It was a refreshing and bold start to our evening, with flavors that were both surprising and enjoyable. Next, we tried the Cygnus, a unique drink made from brown butter tequila, coffee liqueur, cold brew, popcorn, and nutmeg. It was like having popcorn in a glass – a playful and memorable drink that we thoroughly enjoyed.
We also sampled the Pegasus and Phoenix cocktails. While both cocktails were impressive, the Pegasus, which contained lychee, did not have the distinctive flavour we were expecting. A little more lychee would have made the drink even better.

To start with, we couldn’t resist the Chicken Gyoza. Crispy on the outside and soft, delicious on the inside, these Gyoza were truly delicious and a must-try on any trip. We then moved on to the Adana Kebab from Authentic Turkish Grills. The tender pieces of chicken marinated in a fragrant blend of Turkish spices were absolutely delicious and were the highlight of the meal. The Tempura Prawn Sushi also arrived at our table and did not disappoint, providing satisfying crispiness and fresh flavours.
As we moved on to the main course, we relished the Kar Pow, Thai Chicken Stir Fry with Basil. The dish was nutritious and packed with flavour, delivering an explosion of flavour in every bite. The menu also has many other delicious options from pizzas to classic Indian dishes, which we are excited to try on our next visit.
To end our meal on a sweet note, we opted for the Banoffee Pie. However, it was a little disappointing. The texture wasn’t right, and it felt more like a Banoffee Shake than a pie – too runny and lacking the richness we were expecting. The dessert menu could use a few more options.
