The Prasad family who bought it originally came from Pilibhit and hence the property was named Pilibhit House.
Later, when it was converted into a boutique stay, the place was restored with respect for its historical heritage. Today, the property has 35 rooms that have been thoughtfully designed to suit a satvik or pure lifestyle.
