Are you someone who does not enjoy air travel because of the boredom it brings with it? I mean, no matter how short a trip is, it’s a hard thing to do without scrolling through your social media apps. But now, things are changing.
Air India has become the first airline in India to offer in-flight Wi-Fi on both domestic and international routes. Passengers on Airbus A350, Boeing 787-9 and select A321neo flights can enjoy complimentary internet access during their journey. This unprecedented move aims to enhance travel experiences for both leisure and business travellers.
However, it is important to note that Wi-Fi availability is subject to factors such as satellite connectivity and government regulations.
In a blog post, Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Air India, wrote, “Connectivity is now an integral part of modern travel. For some, it’s about the convenience and comfort of real-time sharing, while for others. For us, it’s about greater productivity and efficiency.”
He further added, “Whatever one’s objective, we are confident that our guests will appreciate the option to connect to the web and enjoy the new Air India experience on these aircraft.”
How to use Wi-Fi during flight?
- Enable Wi-Fi on your device.
- Select Air India Wi-Fi network.
- Enter your PNR and last name on the Air India portal.
- Enjoy free internet access.
