This Japanese bar only has muscular women who slap, kick, pick up customers

Japan has a variety of themed bars and restaurants, such as laboratory themed bars and ninja restaurants. One unusual bar that has surprised everyone who has heard about it is the ‘Muscle Girls Bar’ in Tokyo. According to reports, the bar is staffed by strong and muscular women and their job is to slap or kick customers and lift them up in their arms princess style. A waitress, Maru, who weighs about 50 kg, can lift and carry a 130 kg man princess style.
The women on staff include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners, fitness influencers, professional wrestlers and actresses. Personal services can cost up to 30,000 yen (about Rs 17,000).
This unique bar was opened by Hari, a former fitness influencer on YouTube. Hari opened this fitness-themed bar in 2020 after gyms were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “After slapping an Australian customer, word spread and his friends came especially for the slapping service,” Hari was quoted as saying by the South China Morning Post.

The world map on the bar wall shows that customers come from all over the world, including countries like Denmark, Mexico and Germany. The bar’s most popular cocktails are made by crushing grapes with bare hands.

The theme and concept of the bar has received mixed responses from people on social media.
Female customer Samantha Lo expressed her admiration for the staff, saying they break the stereotype of Japanese women being weak and petite. She said, “I feel so free and liberated in this bar.”

“I don’t understand why anyone would go to a bar to experience physical pain. This is crazy,” one man said on YouTube.
