Located in Canada, the couple – Parminder, a Punjabi man, and Melissa, a foreigner – has captured the hearts online with a full Instagram video shot during their time in Punjab.
Cooking together is a task of love, and this couple shows us how beautiful it can be. Located in Canada, the couple – Parminder and Melissa – have captured online hearts with a full Instagram video shot during their time in Parminder’s village in Punjab. The video opens with Melissa, wearing a beautiful pink salwar suit, smiling and says, “Have breakfast with us in Punjab” and “I am making fenugreek bread today.” Melissa, an foreigner, who has beautifully hugged Punjabi traditions, is seen leaving fresh fenugreek (fenugreek) from a garden and was seen carefully washing them carefully.
Permindar, wearing a pink turban to match her suit, then step to cut fenugreek leaves finely. Meanwhile, Melissa stresses some atta (wheat flour) in a vessel, adds a pinch of salt, and mixes to make a dough to chopped fenugreek leaves. The doubles setup is as authentic as it becomes – a temporary stove (traditional clay stove) out. Melissa lights a fire with dry rods and places a grill (grill) on it. She replaces the dough and shapes it in small balls. She levels each of the flour balls by hand with a little water.
With ease of practice, Melissa cooked Makki Di Rotis on the tawa, flipped them at the right time, and then they are redeemed on the fire directly to give that smokey taste. The freshly made rotis are then served with a classic combo with the right. The video ends on the cutest note, to sit together with the Parmindar and Melissa to enjoy the simple breakfast made with his hands.
Melissa wrote on Instagram, “Traditional way is very happy to have traditional breakfast.”
