Imagine you are enjoying your favorite meal in a restaurant, when suddenly a monkey comes and helps himself to a portion of your food. Most of us would probably be shocked or even scared by seeing a wild animal so close. But one man did something completely unexpected and his actions are now making waves on social media. In a video uploaded on Instagram, the man is seen sitting on the floor eating food served at a temple. The calm atmosphere immediately became unusual when a monkey appeared right in front of him. Instead of running away or trying to shoo the animal away, the man remained calm as the monkey sat down beside him and helped himself to some of his food.
What surprised the audience was the man’s spontaneous reaction. The footage shows the monkey casually putting his hand in a box of plates – possibly picking up a pot of yogurt – and licking his fingers. The man, showing no signs of discomfort, allowed the monkey to continue eating as if it were a natural part of his diet. He also encouraged the monkey to keep eating.
