Andaman Islands
Located in the Bay of Bengal, the Andaman Islands are known for their pristine beaches and vibrant marine life. From December to April, these blue waters become a hotspot for whale watching. You can see sperm whales, humpback whales, and even the elusive blue whale, the largest animal on Earth.
Goa
Goa is not just about parties and slum life. There is much more to it. Known for whale watching, boat trips are available from Palolem and Miramar beaches – Goa is an ideal place for whale watching. Bottlenose dolphins and Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins are commonly seen in the Arabian Sea off the coast of South Goa.

It is a popular destination for whale watching, with humpback whales, blue whales and Bryde’s whales visiting during migration season.
Netrani Island
Netrani, also known as Pigeon Island, is a small coral island off the coast of Karnataka. Its crystal-clear waters attract a variety of marine life, including the whale shark, the world’s largest fish. Between October and March, you can also go on exciting diving expeditions.
Chilka Lagoon, Odisha
It is a popular destination for dolphin watching. The main focus here is the Irrawaddy dolphins.
